The Fellowship of the Ring turns 50
JRR Tolkien’s The Fellowship of the Ring was first published fifty years ago today. For its first print run only 3,500 copies were published. You can read some of the original reviews of the book at BBC News.

I’m lovin’ every minute and I’m sure generations to come will continue enjoying the masterpiece that Is The Lord Of The Rings- both literary and visually and then of course Imaginary!!!!!!!!

If Mr. Tolkien was alive today, I would have sent him a card and said,
My dear Mr. Tolkien, you make me feel proud for not giving up on writing this wonderful Fantasy story. A story that gave me wonder. Thank you and happy 50th. on the Fellowship.”
Those would be my words, because I love fantasy storys, and LOTR is the best.
