The Return of the King EE DVD
Comicbookresources.com, reporting from the RotK EE DVD panel discussion at Comic-Con International, reveal that the DVD will contain an extra 50 minutes of footage, over 20 hours of “extras” and that “the deleted scenes are nothing less than mind-blowing”.

Wow! I can’t wait untill it comes out-knowing me I will probably attempt to watch all the extras in one sitting! Lol. It sounds great. I was a bit dissapointed with the extras on the theactrical edition, what was on there was excelent, but there was alot of repitition. EE should be miles better! 😀

Hehe, I’ve been waiting three years for all of them to be out. I can’t wait until I can finally get my own copy of the movies!

i am like bursting at the seams waiting to get my hands on that!!! there better be more arwen scenes she was in like 3 minutes total, and there’s so much more to their story!!

Two of the scenes that were shot that I am hoping are in it are a drinking game in Edoras between Legolas and Gimli, and a rather moving scene with Eomer in which he thinks Eowyn is dead. I also hope that they fill in the Eowyn/Faramir ending. The theatrical edition left that storyline kind of hanging. I can’t wait for this. December is so far away!

I was hoping there would be a bloopers CD, but I guess this is about as good as you get huh? The thing I will first go for is those deleted scenes! Gosh I can’t wait! Thanks so much for getting this morwenna!
Man, I am so looking forword to seeing the extras. It sounds like the 50 min. added will make it twice as Greater then the theader one. I can’t wait to get my hands on the EE DVD. Sounds like I’m getting an early Christmas present, Hehehe!

Wow! Fifty extra minutes of footage AND deleted scenes? It would have been nice to have a blooper disc, but this is still awesome! It was what I dreamed about! 😛 😀
