A new addition to the Elvish Names Database
We’ve recently added the Rohirric Names Finder to the Elvish Names Database, where you can now find the equivalent of your name in Old English (the language of the Rohirrim), as well as Sindarin and Quenya — the Elvish Names Database can be found under the Languages menu of CoE.

Yay! So cool! And finally I can type in Catherine & I get Catherine without having to go through a whole lot of other varients!! I translate as Bilewit, Unwemme.
Wow! This is so neat! I love the way Old English sounds… 🙂

I’m Laura, so this is what I found for my name:
” Sigorléan, ‘reward of victory’, and Sigebéam, ‘tree of victory’ “
Think I’ll go with Sigebéam. Me like trees :D.
