That is a Beautiful book. I have a LOTR book Collectors edition like that, but it’s Red. It also has a slip case. It looks like there might be more to this one then mine. It did say maps. Mine only has one, beautiful big, map of Middle Earth. I would like to see this new one and see if it is the same as mine but different color cover.
They said that it came to the US OCT. 12st. 1954. My Husband and I got our collectors edition in 1974. I think it was a 20 year Anniversary Collectors Addition. Hmmm, Something to check out.
50 years Oct. 21st, Wow!
Wow, that looks beautiful! And it has gold edges…oooh! I want a one-volume edition for a while know, but since I have the set of the 3 books, there’s no reason for me to get it right? (except for the fact that I REALLY want it ;))
There’s going to be a third visual companion! That should be very interesting.
wow, it looks great. Now I want it, even though I have two copies of the book already :S
It only says its being released in the US. Does anyone know if it will be released in other parts of the world too? It’d betta…
