PJ and The Hobbit
In an interview at EW.com Peter Jackson talks about the forthcoming movie of The Hobbit. He does not know if he will be approached to make the movie and says; “Obviously, once a studio decides to make a movie, they’re not necessarily going to wait around for a particular director to become free. So I guess I’m either going to get involved making it or I get to go and enjoy the film when it’s released. We’ll see.”

It’s about time! The Hobbit is my favourite book written by Tolkien. Hopefully, if it does get made, it’ll be as good as LOTR
I really want PJ to get in on The Hobbit. I think it’d be best if he was. But, Let us hope that if Peter Jackson doesn’t get in on it, someone will do it justice and do it right. And hopefully it will be just as good as LotR.
I’d love for PJ to get to make this film, but then agian, he might prefer for someone else to have a stab at it so that he would be able to see someone else’s version. I’ve heard rumors that Elijah Wood might play Bilbo, but I really don’t see that being a likely match. The only thing that I really wanna see happen is for them to cast Ian McKellan as Gandalf and Hugo Weaving as Elrond. I know it’s a different time period from LotR, but those two characters haven’t changed that much between LotR and the Hobbit (mostly their physical appearance, anyway). I honestly can’t see anybody else playing Elrond and Gandalf, and even though they didn’t play their LotR characters exactly like the book, especialy Elrond, simply because they kinda messed up his character becuase of making Arwen such a main character, but Hugo Weaving is an excellent actor and would be able to play Elrond’s role in The Hobbit, even though it’s much smaller. I’d love to see Mckellan back as Gandalf, and I think that he would enjoy playing Gandalf again as well…
