The Hobbit sneak peek: Meet Dori, Nori and Ori from Lord of the Rings prequel
The latest teaser picture for the forthcoming adaptation of the Hobbit has been released, showing a trio of hardy warrior dwarves.

I have to say, I’m not entirely thrilled with the picture of Dori, Ori, and Nori. They look too warlike. They’re not going off to battle they’re going on an adventure to the Lonely Mountain. All that gear would be extremley heavy going up and down through the mountains and it’d just slow them down. Although I’m sure there was some idea of fighting Smaug… But anyway, it’s looking good I think.
um… right. O_O I was thrilled by pictures of Gandalf, Bilbo and the dwarves before, but this looks to me like a joke… like someone was playing around with Photoshop or something to make the dwarves look ridiculous. Especially the one on the left, his hairstyle just takes the cake. O_o I was hoping for a LotR-dwarf look…
Guys. They can’t have all the Dwarves look like Gimli. They’ve got to have a little variety. Although, yes, Dori’s hair is a bit peculiar.
Warlike hair? I don’t think a hair like that (especially the starlike one) would last very long if it was taken to battle. 😛 It looks more ceremonial than an expedition hair. But dwarves got a lot of hair over and under their face, and they sure know how to flaunt it. 😀
I agree that the hairstyles are a bit strange; otherwise I’m excited. 🙂
