Lovely daffs Mareth. The snowdrops and crocuses are out here in Yorkshire, even earlier than last year.

TinyPic doesn't like my Mac and Photobucket runs incredibly slow. I'll find a way to post my lovely pictures eventually.

Took this one when we went to VA Beach early in the morning on a Friday before my classes. Well worth the hour drive.

Love your pictures, Tarc!

I took these pictures in my yard a few weeks ago using my brother's camera...I can't remember what it's called. That was the day I finally learned how to use manual focus because the auto focus with that particular lens was mostly noise and no focus. Anyway.

Hello again everyone! I have not been about here in ages, but I have missed the community, and soon like most weary travellers in middle earth I found my feet wandering toward the last homely house. Lovely photos everyone, its always a pleasure to see the many strange and interesting thing which everyone takes photos of. It rather reminds me of The hobbit walking song. Anyway that's enough rambling.

I have started doing a range of positive quote photos, I have found inspiring quotes too be the only thing I have left in my battles with mental illness, So I wanted to bring them to life, with an interesting or amusing picture. I hope they may inspire and bring hope to others.

tarcolan- I love your photo from June 9th, the b/w line of trees. The first one in the row looks as though it is invoking some power. Very effective.

She has pretty well got me where she wants me. She and Crowley her partner were quite active in tapping the front window in the mornings to get treats. Unfortunately Maw had a run-in with Doggo down the street and she was badly injured. The good news is she is steadily recovering. Her left leg was broken and healed at an angle so she has the pirate/biker walk now, and her breast was quite damaged. It too has healed somewhat but still needs some time before her feathers grow back enough to cover her wound.

Add to this they had two young ones in the nest in the neighbor's palm tree. Now they visit regularly, and Crowley and Maw will leave then unattended in our back yard while they go off places. One of them likes to speed-fly so I call it 'Zoom'. Loves to do close flybys at speed. I haven't come up with a name for the other one yet.
