Well, yet again some ‘interesting’ characterisation of Faramir…
I’am to Hobbitmom, I guess he either thinks he’s to small to do anything about it which is not very possible..
or he doesent care, which almost makes sense.
I’ve heard a rumor this happens because Faramir discovers Gollum is taking Frodo & Sam to Cirith Ungol.
I can’t even really tell what Faramir is doing. Maybe Gollum tried to escape?

Faramir leads them to a way out of the city; Gollum tries to sneak away when Frodo tells Faramir….
..where Gollum is leading them Faramir squeezes the truth from Gollum, and warns Frodo the route is dangerous
tells Frodo to go with the good will of all men, and
tells gollum “may death find you quickly if you lead them to harm”- a good scene despite how this pic looks
Yeah, I started to like Faramir a bit more when I saw this scene.
