This looks like the part they cut from RotK, when Aragorn was supposed to fight Sauron at the Black gate.
Sauron was supposed to come to Aragorn in the appearance of what he used to look like.
But PJ turned him into a BIG troll instead. He didn’t think Sauron coming back to like looked to convincing.
I kinda wish he had shot the whole thing, put in the effects and everything, decided it was a bad idea, put in
the troll for the theatrical and EE edition, then used the deleted scene for the appendecies instead of just
letting us see those sketches of how it would have happened. *sob* It woulda been cool.
In the book, Pippin killed that troll Aragorn was fighting!
