Gender: 2
Race: Elven (Noldor)
Height: 5'11
Age: Around 5187, at the beginning of the Fourth Age
Family: Mother: Anarsilwyn, Father: Dondurion, Half-sister: Tirithiel
Animals: Various horses, her main mount being a silver-white horse named Isil.
Weapons: A longbow, a dagger, and her special elven no-dachi; when sheathed, it looks like a normal staff or walking stick.

Personality: Amarth is not a typical elf, with a firey temper. She is easily offended, and does not easily stop hating someone who has offended her. She has many grudges against various people. One of her pet peeves is self-righteous men who think that, just because she is female, she is weak. When in battle, she often goes into a rage. Though she is hot-headed and bold when angry, she does not socialize well at first, and those who wish to speak with her must tread carefully and earn her trust before she will speak openly. However, when her trust is earned, she is a true and loyal friend.

Appearance: Amarth is tall and stately looking. She is not the most beautiful of elves, but still fair to look upon, with fair skin, almond shaped green eyes, and dark blonde hair. Her tresses hang down to the small of her back when she does not pull them up. Amarth is usually clad in the garb of a Lothlorien ranger, in soft grays and greens to blend in with the Mallorn trees. When she is abroad, she always has a Lorien cloak on her person, unless she is attending a formal gathering. Her formal clothes are usually in shades of plum or burgundy, and are never restricting enough to prevent her from fighting if necessary.

History:

Amarthelwen was born in Eregion, in SA 1273.

When she was deemed ready, Amarth became the apprentice of a craftsmaster. She was quite skilled, and he gave her a beautiful staff. It was not until later that she found its hidden secret, the blade inside. She usually keeps it capped. The weapon is precious to her, and she never lets it out of her sight.

In SA 1596, Amarth and her mother, Anarsilwyn, fled the destruction of Eregion. Her father, Dondurion, stayed behind to try to defend the country. Dondurion was never heard from again, and Amarth assumes that he perished in the fighting.

Anarsilwyn and Amarth stayed in Imladris for a time, with the other survivors of Eregion. For Anarsilwyn, the grief around was too much, so she left, with her young daughter, to live in Lothlorien, where she had relatives.

Amarth and her mother both lived in Lothlorien, for a time. Yet again, Anarsilwyn became restless, and next moved them both to Mirkwood.

There they lived happily for a while, but Amarth wanted to fight and defend her country. Anarsilwyn would not let her, so Amarthelwen left her and moved back to Lothlorien, where she serves as a ranger in the Guard. Her job often has her travelling, scouting out Middle-Earth to bring news back to her Lord and Lady.

Unbeknownst to Amarth, Anarsilwyn eloped with a man from Dale shortly after she left, and Amarthelwen now has a younger half-elven sister, Tirithiel.
