After growing up in the foot hills of the Grey Mountains, Larin left home and traveled to Gondor with the hope of becoming a great warrior. He did just that. From the time he became a squire till his entry into the army of Gondor, he had gone through 3 masters, all but one of which ejected Larin from their care after a few rather tragic sparring sessions. During the War of the Ring, Larin was among the soldiers who held the city of Minas Tirith. After the war, it was decided by the free peoples of middle earth that a Hero’s Guild should be formed to train young people in arts that would be useful in wars that may occur in the future. Larin was placed into the guild as the combat instructor because of his proficiency with such a wide variety of weapons.
