Malikye is the son of one of the greatest wolves of all time, Carcharoth. When his father was slain by Huan in the famed Huting of the Wolves, he was also injured, and thought to be dead. Náriël found the injured wolf pup, and nurtured it, being the only reason for it’s survival. Due to her tender care, it’s loyal to her, and even faught off the speel Sauron had on the wolves, controlling them. It had stayed near her ever since.
